Information related to the processing of personal data

VANDERSOL, UNIPESSOAL LDA., owner of the brand "Mr.Vancamper", (hereinafter referred to as Mr.Vancamper), single registration and tax identification number 509776434 with premises at Parque Comércio e Indústria - ARM 11, 2870-100 Montijo, is the entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data with a view to the purposes described in this privacy policy.

Mr.Vancamper undertakes to process your personal data in compliance with the new General Data Protection Regulation applicable since May 25, 2018 in all Member States of the European Union. Some services and content available through the website do not require registration or subscription, and the processing of personal data is not necessary.

1 - Collection and processing of your personal data
Whenever you access our website and fill in a form, make a reservation and/or payment for any service, subscribe to our newsletter or enter into a rental contract, we necessarily need to collect, process and store some personal data, namely, your name, nationality, date and place of birth, identification card number (citizen card or passport), postal address, email address, telephone number, tax identification number, credit card details. Without providing this information it will not be possible to execute your order.

2 - Use and archiving period of the data
The data will be archived for a maximum period of 10 years after the end of its use:

a) Administrative management of customers, for the performance of the contract for the rental of light vehicles without a driver and compliance with legal obligations under Decree Laws 181/2012, of August 6 and 15/88, of January 16, for 10 years;

b) Invoicing, collection and payment management;

c) History of the business relationship, to comply with Mr.Vancamper legal obligations;

d) Management and recovery of disputed credits;
e) Sending a newsletter with marketing communications, information on campaigns, news, congratulations, based on your profile;

f) Analysis of consumption profiles, allowing Mr.Vancamper to customize its commercial offer to its customers, based on their previously made reservations, having no impact on the choices that the customer wants to make and not being necessary for the conclusion of the contract.

3 - Potential recipients of your personal data

Your personal data may be communicated to the following entities for the purposes indicated:

a) Private and public authorities, within the scope of audits, inquiries, inspections and investigations within the scope of their legal powers, namely police bodies, public institutes and highway concessionaires;

b) Legal representatives and courts, for the purposes of representation, declaration, exercise or defense of rights in legal proceedings;

c) Tax Authority, for the purpose of fulfilling tax obligations.

d) Service providers under a subcontract for the purpose of providing technical assistance (e.g., website hosting providers) or for performing data processing on behalf of and in the name of Mr.Vancamper (e.g., marketing) and only when they provide sufficient security guarantees.

4 - Protection of your personal data
In accordance with current legislation, Mr.Vancamper provides an adequate level of protection for your personal data, in particular by implementing possible and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental destruction, loss or modification, as well as against unauthorized access and other unauthorized processes. The measures taken include encryption of data and security of the applications that process it.

Nevertheless, Mr.Vancamper points out that no security system can guarantee absolute protection. Your personal data is collected on an open network and may therefore circulate on the network without security conditions, at the risk of being seen and used by unauthorized third parties.

Without prejudice to the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD, you have the right, under the terms of the legislation in force, to request from Mr.Vancamper access to personal data concerning you, as well as their rectification or deletion, and the limitation of processing insofar as it concerns the data subject, or the right to oppose processing, as well as the right to data portability. For the purposes of fulfilling the request to exercise rights in the preceding paragraph, Mr.Vancamper, in case of reasonable doubt as to the identity of the natural person submitting the request, may request to be provided with such additional information as is necessary to confirm the identity of the data subject.

6 - Children's data
None of our services are intended for children under the age of 18. Therefore, we do not intend to intentionally collect information from children.
