Information related to the processing of personal data
VANDERSOL UNIPESSOAL LDA, owner of the trademark “MR.VANCAMPER”, (hereinafter referred to as MR.VANCAMPER), unique tax identification 509776434 and located at Parque Indústria e Comércio ARM 11, E.N. 5 2870-100 Montijo, Portugal is the entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data, in view of the purposes described in this privacy policy.
MR.VANCAMPER undertakes to process your personal data in accordance with the new General Regulation of Data Protection applicable from May 25, 2018 in all Member States of the European Union. Some services and contents available through the site do not require registration or signature, and no processing of personal data is required.

1.Collection and process of your personal data
Whenever you access our website and fill out a form, make a reservation and/or payment for any service, subscribe our newsletter or start a rental agreement, we have the obligation to collect, process and file some personal data, namely the name, nationality, date and place of birth, identification card number (citizen’s card or passport), postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, tax identification number and credit card details. Without providing this information you will not be able to execute your request.

2.Use and period of archiving data
Data shall be archived for a maximum period of 10 years after the end of its use:
a) Administrative management of customers for the execution of the contract for the rental of light vehicles without driver and in compliance with legal obligations under decree-laws 181/2012 of 6 August and 15/88 of 16 January for 10 years;
b) Management of billing, collections and payments;
c) History of the commercial relationship, to fulfill legal obligations of MR.VANCAMPER;
d) Management and recovery of litigious claims;
e) Sending of newsletters with marketing communications, information about campaigns, news, congratulations, based on your profile;
f) Analysis of consumption profiles, allowing MR.VANCAMPER to customize its commercial offer to its customers, based on their reservations previously made, having no impact on the choices that the customer wants to make and not being necessary for the celebration of the contract.

3.Potential recipients of your personal data 
Your personal data may be communicated to the following entities for the purposes indicated:
a) ARAC (Association of Industrial Car Rental without Driver), for inclusion in the database of non-performing customers;
b) Private and Public authorities, in the context of audits, inspections and investigations within the scope of their legal competences, namely, police agencies, public institutes and motorway concessionaires;
c) Judicial officers and courts, for the purposes of representation, exercise or defense of rights in legal proceedings;
d) Tax Authority, for the purposes of compliance with tax obligations;
e) Service providers under the cover of a sub-contract for the purpose of providing technical assistance (e.g. hosting providers) or for the data processing on behalf of MR.VANCAMPER (e.g. marketing) and only where they offer sufficient safety guarantees.

4.Protection of your personal data
According to the legislation in force, MR.VANCAMPER provides an adequate level of protection of your personal data, including through the implementation of reasonable and possible technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from accidental destruction, loss or modification, as well as against unauthorize access and other processes. Measures taken include data encryption and the security of the applications that process them.
However, MR.VANCAMPER warns that no security system can guarantee absolute protection. Your personal data is collected in open network and therefore can circulate in the network without security conditions, running the risk of being seen and used by unauthorized third parties.
The security of your personal data also depends, in part, of your actions. For example, it is your responsibility to use complex passwords and keep them confidential to protect your personal data. For example, if you share your computer with others, be sure to leave the session after each use to avoid leaving your session open and available to everyone.

5.Your rights
Without prejudice to the right to file a complaint with the CNPD, you have the right, under the terms of the legislation in force, to request MR.VANCAMPER to access your personal data, as well as to rectify or delete it, and to limit the treatment as regards the data subject, or the right to object to the processing, as well as the right to portability of data. To exercise these rights, you should contact MR.VANCAMPER at the address below or through our contact page.
For the purpose of complying with the request for exercising of rights in the previous paragraph, MR VANCAMPER, in case of reasonable doubts, as to identify the natural person submitting the request, may request to be provided with such additional information as may be necessary to confirm the identity of the holder of the data.

6.Children’s data
None of our services are intended for people under the age of 18. Therefore, we do not intend to collect or intentionally collect information from children.
